Hell in a handbasket...

For those of you who need to know:

The big 1 is 3 weeks away. We're still looking for a location, mostly worried about the weather (it is officially 100andfuckdegrees right now, bTW).

We're making this a pot luck. The AWESOMENESS that is the_lessa is making motions of a ladybug cake. Her car seat has been ordered. If you want to give, toys and books are the request, because I have a box of clothes still and she doesn't need much (unless someone is really nuts and wants to buy a toddler bed for a few big bucks).

Her new little brother is due to arrive sometime in January, maybe earlier if I get too frustrated.

So...ideas for location: the same old place here in Riverside? Grandma's Center in Irvine? Lessa mentioned some place in Orange area that she apparently "has a key to"?
I have a pool. Grandma's has a pool.

I'd rather do it near my place cause hauling crap back and forth is harder than it seems. there is that oh-So-convenient park across the street from my place....
